Our approach to Print Design
We design for the medium and prepare files to production standard, so the print run matches the proof. Getting the technical setup right is what separates print that looks sharp from print that disappoints.

Print is unforgiving, so it pays to get it right
Print has a quality screens do not: it is permanent. Once a run is printed, a wrong colour, a typo or a misjudged margin is expensive to fix, because the only fix is to print it again. That makes print design as much about careful production setup as it is about how something looks. A file that looks perfect on screen can still print with the wrong colours, blurry images or text trimmed off the edge if it is not prepared correctly.
We design print work that is on brand and prepared properly for production, so what arrives matches what you approved.
What we design
- Stationery and cards. Business cards, letterheads and the everyday items that quietly signal how serious a business is.
- Brochures and collateral. Brochures, flyers, menus and folders designed to be read and to represent the brand well.
- Large format and signage. Banners, posters, and vehicle or premises signage, prepared for clean output at scale.
- Print-ready artwork. Files set up with the correct bleed, CMYK colour and resolution, supplied in the format your printer needs.
The technical part that matters
The difference between print that looks sharp and print that disappoints is usually invisible on screen. Bleed so the design runs cleanly to the edge, CMYK colour so what prints matches what you expect, and high enough resolution so nothing comes out soft. We handle all of it, and we are happy to liaise with your printer to make sure the files are exactly what they need.
On brand, on press
Print should look like the rest of your brand, not a separate exercise. We design from your identity so a brochure, a sign and your website clearly belong together. If you do not have a defined brand system, our brand identity service sets one up, and our graphic design service covers the digital equivalents of everything here.
Frequently asked questions
Do you arrange the printing, or just the design?
We focus on the design and print-ready artwork, and we are happy to liaise with your printer to make sure the files meet their requirements. If you do not have a printer, we can point you to reliable options.
What is bleed, and why does it matter?
Bleed is a small margin of design that extends past the final trim line, so when the printer cuts the page there is no thin white edge if the cut is slightly off. It is a standard print requirement, and we set it up correctly so your work trims cleanly.
Why does my design look different when printed?
Screens use RGB light and print uses CMYK ink, so colours can shift if a file is not prepared for print. We design with print colour in mind and set files up in CMYK so the result matches expectations as closely as the process allows.
Can you match my existing brand for print?
Yes. We design print materials from your brand identity so they are consistent with everything else you produce. If your brand is not clearly defined, we can establish that first so print and digital align.
Can you do large-format work like banners and signage?
Yes. We design banners, posters and signage and prepare them for large-format output, where resolution and setup are especially important so the result is crisp at size rather than pixelated.
